What does the Joomla Maintenance Package include?

The Joomla Maintenance Package includes the following services:

• Quarterly security review of your Joomla website: This review will check if your Joomla website suffers from any potential security issues. When we finish the review, we will send you a report scoring the security of your Joomla website, and listing the recommended actions to be taken in order to ensure that your website remains protected against any attack. The quarterly security review consists of the following stress tests:
  • SQL Injection test
  • XSS test
  • File security test

• Quarterly review of your website’s functionality: This review will check that all the basic features are working OK on your Joomla website. It checks if searching works, if users are able to register and login, and if you have no “dead” links on your website. The quarterly functionality review will then yield a report listing all the broken functionality that we saw while navigating your website, and will list the recommended actions to be taken¹.

• Joomla website backup: We will backup your full website and your full database. For an extra $50 fee, we will send you a DVD containing your full website and your database.

• 3 hours of Joomla consulting (worth $225 at the current rate of $75/hour)²: You will get 3 hours of regular Joomla consulting every 3 months. You can spend them the way you want.

• 1 hour of urgent Joomla consulting (worth $150 at the current rate of $150/hour)²: You will get 1 hour of urgent Joomla consulting every 3 months to use in the unlikely case where your website goes down during our non-regular hours.

What we need from you

We will need from you the following information:

• Your hosting account credentials (in case you have a cPanel hosting, then this means your cPanel hosting account information)
• Your FTP username and password
• The username and password of the super administrator of your Joomla website

How much it costs?

The total cost of this service is $500/quarter (3 months). There is no long term commitment. Payments can be made either by check, by PayPal, or by email transfers.
